Attorney and constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley is calling for a new “Church Committee” to investigate and reform the FBI following years of scandals brought to a head in the “Twitter Files” and the revelation of alleged political bias at the bureau.
“‘Conspiracy theorists…feeding misinformation’ is a familiar attack line for anyone raising concerns over social media censorship. What is different is that this attack came from the country’s largest law enforcement agency, the FBI…” Turley tweeted on Monday.
The tweet links to his column that was published at The Hill that excoriates the FBI and points out the urgent need to police those who have been ostensibly policing and censoring the American public.
