Pilots who are white and male were labeled “useless” in Britain’s Royal Air Force by leadership, according to leaked internal communication.
Squadron Leader Andrew Harwin complained to RAF staff on Jan. 19, 2021 that training courses for pilots were “predominantly white male heavy,” the Daily Telegraph reports.
Harwin reportedly complained there weren’t enough female or black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) candidates.
