A grand jury at the direction of Soros-funded Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg indicted former Marine Daniel Penny for the chokehold killing of Jordan Neely, a mentally disturbed homeless man with a long and violent criminal history, during a subway confrontation last month.
The indictment delivered Wednesday leaves Penny, 24, facing one charge of second-degree manslaughter and another charge of criminally negligent homicide. The manslaughter charge could land him in prison for up to 15 years, while the negligent homicide charge could add another four years.
Penny’s attorneys said they were committed to “aggressively defend” their client and to clear his name and reputation. The former Marine is free on $100,000 bail.
