So reads the opening paragraph of a Friday Wall Street Journal article about the realization among the smugglers, including despicable scum who have thrived on sex-trafficking illegals, including young children, into the United States throughout almost four years of the Biden-Harris administration’s intentional border crisis.
As is the case with the Democrat Party, the smugglers know full well that President-elect Donald Trump and incoming “border czar” Tom Homan mean business when they declare not only that the illegal border surge will abruptly be stopped once Trump is back in the White House but also that the deportation of illegals program will begin in earnest, including some 13,000 illegals who were convicted or murder, rape, and other violent crime in their countries of origin.
Soon after taking office, Trump is expected to take action to secure the southern border, including reimplementing the “Remain in Mexico” policy, administered by the Department of Homeland Security, which required foreign nationals seeking asylum in the US to remain in Mexico until their US immigration court date.
The policy was initially ended by the Biden administration. After negotiations with Mexico, the administration announced the resumption of the policies in December 2021 with some changes, but on June 30, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Biden v.
