In New Orleans, a black man, reportedly radicalized by a mosque, drove his truck through a New Year’s Eve crowd on Bourbon Street before jumping out of his vehicle and opening fire on the crowd. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, a white “special ops” man detonated a bomb in a Tesla Cybertruck right in front of Trump Tower.
These are terrifying times in an already violent, upside-down America, and people are understandably on edge.
