(WND News Center)—Known for his record-breaking 24-hour speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate last spring, Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., shouted in anger and drama on that same floor Tuesday, in response to fellow Democrats who had different opinions about how to go about their mission to disrupt President Donald Trump.
According to an X post by the Daily Caller, Booker had argued with Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Catherine Cortez-Masto on the Senate floor. In the response, in which he claimed “secret police” are terrorizing people in America, he seemed to suggest other Democrats have questioned his integrity.
Some on X, commenting in real time, called the speech a “total meltdown”:
