ADVERTISEMENT Details are emerging about 42-year-old David DePape , the man who allegedly broke into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home early Friday morning and violently assaulted her husband, Paul, leaving him with a skull fracture.
Michael Shellenberger w rote on Substack , “Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior.” During the incident, which occurred around 2:27 am, DePape allegedly broke into the home, then apparently allowed Pelosi to use the bathroom , where he made a 911 call in which he referred to DePape as a “friend”. It is unclear whether Paul Pelosi was trying to say that DePape was his friend, or Nancy’s.
DePape then yelled “Where is Nancy? Where is Nancy?” before the attack, which police arrived in time to see.
