Socialist Bernie Sanders has been activated by Democrats to go after the righteous reduction of waste underway with the Trump administration. He launched his anti-DOGE campaign with a surprisingly long list of lies in a very short video.
He opened by highlighting “massive income and wealth inequality,” noting that the people on top have “never, ever had it so good.”
This is the only honest portion of his rant. It’s true that income and wealth inequality are at all-time highs and it’s a direct result of Democrat policies that have gutted the middle class for the last four years.
He then dishonestly discussed massive cuts coming to Medicaid, education, and housing. What he failed to mention is that the massive cuts being discussed are for efficiency only. Nobody is talking about cutting Medicaid benefits. Nobody is talking about harming education or housing. The only people who will be harmed are the bureaucrats who have embedded themselves in government so they can advance their own agendas AGAINST the American people.
He then told the biggest whopper of them all. Harkening back to his days running for president, he regurgitated the lie that tax breaks coming from efficiency savings will go to Elon Musk and the billionaire class. This is demonstrably false. The tax breaks that have been discussed since the last time the GOP made tax breaks in 2018 are geared toward the middle class.
