Unless you are a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, the highlight of Super Bowl LVII was Chris Stapleton’s incredible rendition of our country’s National Anthem. If there was ever a reason to scream “hell yeah, brother” after hearing the Star-Spangled Banner , it was Stapleton on Sunday. His peers in the country music community took to Twitter to praise his performance. Though one, Darius Rucker, had a critique.
Not of Stapleton. Of all the grown-ass men in attendance who couldn’t be bothered to remove their hats: “I just saw grown men keep their hats in during the National Anthem and that really sucked.” I just saw grown men keep their hats in during the National Anthem and that really sucked.
