An intruder on Monday broke into Joint Base Andrews where Air Force One and other presidential aircraft such as a “doomsday” plane is stored.
A guard opened fire on the intruder before security rushed in to make an arrest.
“A man gained unauthorized access to a JBA housing area. A resident discharged a firearm, security forces arrived on scene to apprehend the intruder and law enforcement is investigating the incident,” Joint Base Andrews said in a tweet.
