Sen. John Fetterman , the embattled Pennsylvania Democrat, raised concerns after struggling to articulate his thoughts coherently during a Tuesday Senate Banking Committee hearing on the collapse of Valley Bank.
Fetterman stumbled over his own words, erroneously claiming that the witnesses’ partners “went to Hawaiss (sic) after there was a crash for your bank.” According to the transcript compiled by Fox News Digital, he expressed disbelief, stating, “So, I went up on the Internet, and it’s like, it did happen. It did happen. It did happen,” he sputtered while referencing a New York Post article titled “Ex-Silicon Valley Bank CEO Greg Becker jets to Hawaii after collapse.”
